Thematic groups are the engine of UCRNN’s collective advocacy. Member organizations sign up to the themes most relevant to their mandate, then collaborate to generate strategies, position papers and coordinated action. Through these groups, members have helped shape landmark laws and policies for children in Uganda, including the Children’s (Amendment) Act 2016 and the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act Regulations.
